An MMWR report finds that patients with COVID-19 had almost 16 times the risk for myocarditis, or inflammation of part of the heart muscle, compared with patients who did not have COVID-19. Children and people aged 75 and older had the highest risk of myocarditis. These findings show why getting a COVID-19 vaccine is important to protect yourself from COVID-19 and its complications. We just opened the booking for Pfizer 1st Shot for this week at Revive pharmacy on 1905 20th Ave. NW
We do thank our community for being supportive to local business and we decided to always start by posting the available booking to our community members first before opening it to the general public.
Please open the link below :
-scroll down till you get to the waiting list (Do not enter your name on the waiting list unless all appointments were taken)
-There is a location dropdown menu that you have to pick whether you would like to check availability for the weekend (saturday -Sunday) or weekday (Thursday-Friday)
-Enter your information (name as written on your health card)
-Once you submit you will receive an email that we did receive your submission then by the end of the day once we verify eligibility we will be sending you another email to confirm your appointment
-You do not have to print the form attached to the email, we have updated our system so it would populate that for you at the pharmacy for your convenience
-Please do not book for dose 2 for now , If you would like to add your name to the waiting list for dose 2 you may do so at any point!

The time has come and We're just about to receive our AstraZeneca vaccines the week of April 12th (unless there are unforeseen delays).
If you are eligible under the current phase and would like to book an appointment with us to get your vaccine, send us an email on [email protected] or call us 403-764-8020 and book for the 20th or later (in anticipation of first week shipment delays) and we will call you if we receive it sooner!
Eligibility for AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine

o Albertans aged 55 to 64 without chronic conditions. (Those with chronic conditions fall within Phase 2B and should receive Pfizer or Moderna vaccine)
o Additional information regarding chronic condition can be found in the Alberta Health website.
