During this two hour workshop, we will breathe, move and play with various arm balances of the yoga practice. There is no specific goal or end point, we will be coming in from an observant and playful mindset.
Focusing between our bandhas, after various warmups for the wrist joints and the entire physical body, we will explore how we can transfer our weight onto our hands, bringing in a deeper understanding of our Drishti (gaze or focus) and bounce between Bakasana (Crow), Koundinyasana (Sage Koundinya - Dwi - Eka Pada 1 &2) and Astavakrasana (Eight angle).
Whether you are a seasoned practitioner in all of these shapes or if you are just beginning your arm balance journey, there will be many opportunities to play, move into and out of and revisit all these variations. Lots of time to play and come to the edge together in our practice. A deep passion for arm balances lies within me because of the focus and clarity it brings to my practice and my life… I’m thrilled to share my experience and my journey with you! ~ Jasmine

We are working on creating a schedule with at least 3 classes a day. If this becomes our new reality for an extended duration we will keep adding classes.

This class unites two powerful ways to relax; Yoga Music with an analogue spin. Work out the “issues in the tissues” while grooving to funky beats and soulful music by artists like Pink Floyd,Bob Marley, Miles Davis, Sam Cook and Otis Redding.
The practice begins with mindfulness and energy, deepening our connection with the breath and intention. Jenelle will drop the needle on some vinyl and teach this hybrid practice of Traditional Yoga and a Daoist/Tai Chi style flow in stages, sharing the mythology behind the Dragon Dance and various moves and asanas that encompass it.

After the warming yang series, we ease into a deep hip opening Yin Dragon sequence. Jenelle will offer insight into various hip movements and restrictions individuals may experience. This practice can be very therapeutic, releasing tension in the connective tissues, myofascia and joints, all while improving flexibility and range of motion.

All levels of experience are welcome.

Join Natasha Peace @yogatash every Thursday from 12:00- 1:15 pm for a practice that will focus on inversions and heart opening postures. Everything from downward dog to handstands, headstands, backbends and more!

Some of the benefits to inversions include more energy, improved balance and core strength, as well as gaining a new perspective on life.

Come with an open mind and heart and be ready to step into your truth. This class is an intermediate level class with a minimum 1 year yoga practice.

Extended Hand To Big Toe Pose.
It's a mouthful to say and it also has a mouthful of benefits.
Improves balance and confidence while strengthening the standing leg and ankle. Allows for a sweet stretch out the back of the extended leg. Strengthens and engages the core. Brings the mind into one pointed focus. Improves concentration.
As in all postures remember that there are variations and modifications. We all rock it when we do it our way. A bend in the knee of the extended leg to allow our hamstrings the gift of space. The use of a strap. Whatever it is that makes it ours. That's the right way. Every time. Feel it. Breathe it. Start soft. Ground deep. Stand tall. Engage the center line. Wink 😉
