September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Canadian men. This year, nearly 28,000 men will hear the words “you have prostate cancer.” Here in Alberta, 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed in their lifetime.

Early detection saves lives — prostate cancer is highly treatable if caught early.

At the Prostate Cancer Centre, we offer one-stop support for Albertans diagnosed with prostate cancer, with comprehensive programs and services for patients and their families through every step of their journey – from education, to blood testing for early detection, to post-operative care and mental wellness support.

We cannot give enough thanks to Re*****on Development Corporation as well as the sponsors and players who make this tourament possible. An incredible $325,000 was raised for the Prostate Cancer Centre

The team will be there from 12-3pm providing free PSA blood tests used for the early detection of prostate cancer, for men aged 40-70. All men 18+ can stop by for other health assessments including blood pressure tests, or mental wellness checks. Thanks to our friends at TD Canada for supporting this clinic!

Edmonton, our FREE health clinic will be at the Edmonton Pride Brunch tomorrow in the Ice District! Welcoming anyone with a prostate aged 40-70, come and see our team for a PSA blood test used in the early detection of prostate cancer. We will also be offering additional health measurements, and free mental wellness assessments for those over the age of 18.
