This weekend, I finished taking a course in Rapid Adhesion Release Technique. This course will make me an even more effective therapist achieving results in the shortest time possible. I would like to continue taking the rest of the courses so that I can treat the whole body, not just the top half. Treatments are aggressive but very effective.
I was having major issues with my hips with the ligaments pulling at the hip socket and making walking and moving around more and more difficult. The instructor put me on the table and went vigorously after the ligaments, capsule surrounding the socket, and any adhesions he could find on my hips, glutes and quads. I was swearing because it hurt like the wicked witch of the west. But I am extremely happy with the results!!!!! The pain from my hips and sockets are gone; and I can move around so much freely. We also did some TMJ work. I never realized that my jaw deviated to the right. The instructor used me as the demo as I was the worse case example. Crap!!!! That hurt!!!!! But my jaw does not deviate anymore. And just maybe, I won't have any more episodes of vertigo.

I love the fact that I was able to go through a bit of pain to achieve corrective measures--without drugs or surgery!!

Something most everyone should keep in mind. There are a few exceptions: if there is a risk of bone fractures just from touch, or not receiving a medical clearance from your doctor. Otherwise, the onus is on you to take care of your health.

These symptoms are good to know. As a massage therapist, we need to know if you are experiencing any of these symptoms as it will affect we massage just the top half or refuse to massage at all and send you straight to emergency. A good therapist cares about your health and wellbeing.

Blood clots typically form deep within the veins of the legs—deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
