I have been a physiotherapist for over 15 years and my passion is helping people experiencing complex+persistent pain. By combining posture + body awareness, nervous system education, and muscle + fascia release techniques, I effectively address the underlying causes. I developed the Pain + Posture Release Program from my experience treating complex pain - these underlying concepts with guide you to a better understanding of YOUR pain, plus give you an EFFECTIVE PLAN to unravel it! If you are currently pregnant or know someone who is, please sign up for my upcoming workshop or send them the link. Being proactive in preparing for the first few months after delivery can make such a difference to healing and recovery. I wish I’d known how to prepare for this time. Ladies, listen up! This holiday season, put your brain health at the top of the list!

In just 5 minutes a day, you can give yourself the gift of stress relief.

Try something simple like:

✨ focusing on your breath

✨ listening to your favourite meditation

✨ a quick yoga session

✨ dancing to your favourite song

5 minutes is all it takes!
(But feel free to take longer if you can ❤️ )

👋 Who here is really good at ignoring their back pain??

We all do it!

We need to get this project done.

We need to do one last thing before lunch.

We need to finish this task before the kids get home.

We don’t have time right now. We will do something about it later.

And then?

Tension builds, pain sets in, stretching doesn’t help, and we end up taking pain medication to get to sleep. 👎

What if we listened when our back STARTED to get tight?

What if we stopped and tried to do something different AT THAT MOMENT to help?

🥳 The tension stops building and our pain doesn’t reach that terrible end-of-day level!


…and it is SO MUCH EASIER to release a little bit of tension than a whole lot of pain.

Here are some suggestions to try when you start to feel back tension building:

✅ Change Positions
Can you keep doing the same activity but change the position to be happier for your back?

✅ Check Your Sitting Posture
Sit to THE BACK OF YOUR CHAIR and use a lumbar support. (Insert my ergonomic soapbox here!)

✅ Get Moving!
2 minutes of standing + a little walk to grab some water can make a big difference.

✅ Do One Stretch
Pick one stretch that feels good and do it!
