Having been in the corporate world for 30 years, I know how stressful and exhausting it can be, especially when we don't take care of ourselves. This is why I am passionate about helping people find their genius when it comes to self-care, as well as examining belief systems that no longer serve and change them to beliefs that are better aligned to our desires. Let's face it, when we change what we believe, we change what we do, it's that simple. However as change is not easy for most of us, I am here to guide and support you through the process. I also love my husband and our fur babies. After travelling North America the last 15 years of the Corporate world I am loving working from home, gardening and being grounded. There truly is no place like home.

Did you know Fluoride is a by product of aluminum? I stopped fluoride treatments a few years ago when I leaned this. Finally the public is being informed and way to go Calgary for recently adding it back to our DRINKING water, and the water we bath in. 😡. Why because people vote it in. Why, because they are not properly informed and only told the “good” part which is skewed anyway, like most paid for studies, they only publish what they want you to know not the side effects etc. Knowledge is power so we can make better choices for our health.

For decades, fluoride was seen as a safe and beneficial element in our water supply, but now, with emerging scientific evidence, it’s officially recognized as a neurotoxin. Medical journals worldwide have published studies linking fluoride to potential health risks, forcing us to reconsider its widespread use. It’s a wake-up call to question long-accepted practices and understand the true impact of what we’re consuming.

The shift in understanding brings to light how important it is to stay informed and open-minded about the products and substances we use daily. What was once dismissed as a conspiracy theory has now become a proven truth, urging us to rethink the chemicals we accept in our food, water, and environment. It’s a moment of reflection on how we can make better choices for our health and future generations.

As we gain a better understanding of fluoride’s effects, it’s clear that a shift in our approach to public health is necessary. Being open to new information and challenging outdated practices is essential for ensuring the well-being of individuals and communities alike. 🧠⚠️

So true

Joy isn’t a bonus — it’s a strategy. When we create from joy, the universe amplifies every intention. 💛

Being kind to yourself allows more space in your mind/body to be kind to others.

Think of the opposite, you're run down, tired, grumpy, are you at your best to be kind to others? Probably not.

Give yourself some grace today, maybe it's a bubble bath, a 10 minute break with a cup of tea and a good book, a walk outside in the fresh air, you get the idea.

Just a little self-care will put you in a better space to be kind to others. Don't believe me, give it a try!

Tell me what kinds of things you do for self-care, what makes you feel better?

Most vehicles have a recirculation button as part of their AC controls, but many of us aren’t sure when to use it. The simple rule of thumb is to use it in the summer and turn it off in the winter.
The recirculation button works by taking the air inside your car and recirculating it within the cabin, rather than pulling in fresh air from outside. On extremely hot days, if you don't use the recirculation feature, your AC system has to cool the hot air from outside, which can be less efficient. By recirculating the cooler air inside the car, you can cool your vehicle more quickly and reduce the strain on your AC system.
Side note: If your car has been sitting in the sun, it’s better to roll the windows down and turn off recirculation for the first minute or so. This allows the superheated air inside to escape before you turn the recirculation on.
Additionally, anytime you’re stuck in traffic—whether it’s summer or winter—be sure to use the recirculation feature. If you’re pulling air from outside, you’re also pulling in pollutants and carbon monoxide from the traffic around you. Studies show that using the recirculation feature can reduce the amount of pollutants entering your vehicle by 20% when you’re stuck in traffic.

Have you ever owned a cat? If you have you know how independent they can be, and how each cat is so very different. While dogs are all over you, a cat will pick and choose when to give affection and when not too. They are actually a good reminder to put ourselves first every once and a while and take care of ourselves like a cat would. They know when to nap, snack, play and bathe, and nothing stops them. You can’t make a cat do anything! While a dog is waiting, ready to please.

It’s a personal preference whether you prefer cats or dogs. Frankly we have both and the dynamics between them are so fun to watch! Once minute Penelope is chasing a cat, the next they are snuggled up on the bed together, so fun to watch and be a part of.

Depending on where you are at in your life, a cat might be better if you are out a lot, as they are more independent than dogs. Either way I find pets to be a wonderful addition to our family as the bring us so much joy.

What about you, do you have a pet? What is it? What’s your favourite thing about your pet?
