I’m still sitting with the gratitude I’ve felt since the Super Bowl event 🤍

Hosting my first charity fundraiser, I truly didn’t know what to expect — and I’m so moved that together we raised $19,702.43 for the Prostate Cancer Centre.

More than the number, what’s stayed with me is the energy in the room. The connection. The laughter. The care. The feeling of people choosing to show up for something bigger than themselves.

Supporting men’s mental and physical health matters deeply to me. When men are supported in breaking down barriers to seeking help — and feel empowered to care for their well-being — it leads to healthier homes, stronger relationships, and more connected communities.

To everyone who came, contributed, volunteered, or supported in any way — thank you. Truly.

And to my Carbon team — I’m grateful for you.

After my dad died from cancer, I found a notebook he had been writing in during the last year of his life.

Often timestamped in the middle of the night, he poured out his fears, his grief, his love for his kids, and his gratitude for life — all completely alone.

Reading it, I felt something I can never un-feel:
so many men carry their deepest pain alone.

My dad was a generous soul. He volunteered across this city, gave freely, and lived with intention. Watching the way he showed up for others has deeply shaped how I want to show up in the world. It’s one of the reasons I want to give back more meaningfully, not just professionally, but personally.

With that intention, my office has partnered with the Prostate Cancer Centre — the only centre of its kind in Canada providing comprehensive screening, diagnosis, treatment, and mental health support for men with prostate cancer and their families. All of this work is funded entirely through private donation.

February 8th 2026, Carbon Psychology is hosting a Charity Super Bowl Night for Men’s Health, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the Prostate Cancer Centre. This event is a small but meaningful step toward the kind of impact my dad inspired in me — and I hope it’s just the beginning.

If this resonates with you, I hope you’ll join us.💙

Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite.

Ladies, we need men on our team, and the only way to do that is to be on their team too!
