Ahhhhh 😌
Using a lacrosse ball at the base of your head can be a simple but powerful way to ease tension, especially if you deal with headaches, neck stiffness, or long days at a desk.
The muscles under your skull (your suboccipitals) work overtime with stress, posture, and screen time. Giving them a gentle release can make a big difference.
Doing this 2–3x per week can help:
✅ reduce neck and head tension
✅ calm headache symptoms
✅ improve neck mobility
✅ help your nervous system settle
How to do it:
• Lie on your back
• Place the lacrosse ball at the base of your skull
• Let your head rest into it
• Gently turn your head side to side or hold still and breathe
• Stay for 60–90 seconds per spot
Less effort, more intention. This should feel relieving, not aggressive.
