For Rita Iradukunda, nursing is a passion shaped by her experience as an immigrant, and dedication to serve the community she became a part of here in Calgary.

She treats every patient like family, and makes sure they feel welcome, heard, and respected on top of receiving the best medical care possible.

November 10-16 is National Nurse Practitioner Week – a significant event celebrating the tremendous contribution of nurse practitioners to our healthcare system.

We’re proud to have supported Rita through the Calgary Health Foundation Scholarship, in partnership with Alberta Registered Nurses Educational Trust (ARNET), helping her advance her education and continue making a meaningful difference in maternal and child health in Calgary.
