Baby Sloane’s first adjustment! ✨

Despite only being a fraction of a day old, she is actually fresh off her first major physical stressor - BIRTH. 🐣

Birth is a beautiful, natural, even magical process; but that doesn’t mean it is easy! It is difficult and requires a lot of force, which puts stress on baby’s spine - especially the upper cervical region (just below the skull). ❇️

Here you can see Sloane receiving an adjustment to the top bone in her neck (C1 aka Atlas). You can probably tell this is a very light force adjustment - as this is all that is required with a newborn. The force used is about the pressure you would use to check the ripeness of a tomato! 🍅

It’s so special and such an honour to be able to take care of my baby girl from day (hour) one 💜
