Spotted at the National Training Event this weekend - our frame rep Jerry repping for the brand in the Colton. Handmade in Berlin, the Colton is super lightweight, and features clean lines and the classic Mykita spiral hinge. Jerry paired his frames with an FL-41 tinted lens (a tint designed to reduced generalized light sensitivity and visual discomfort) — making the finished product an example of a functional lenses looking very much on point.

So excited to finally meet Roberta - she runs the show (and is also the daughter of the brand’s founder). We were equally as excited to get a firsthand look at all the new releases from the SS2026 lineup and handpick the pieces to land on our shelves. There are some absolute beauties in this collection - they’ll be arriving in the shop very soon so stay tuned!

This right here, meeting the people behind the brand, is one of the best parts of working with independent eyewear. These are the creatives who truly live, breathe, and embody their work, and that shared passion and mutual support is such a special part of this industry…

SS2026 Spotlight - Tinted lenses continue to gain popularity in 2026, and we love to work with them both in sunglasses and specialty ophthalmic lenses. A tinted lens is a great way to add a little unexpected personality with a vintage vibe, and bridge the gap between indoor and outdoor wear. So many of the new releases this season feature specialty tints right out of the box, but we can also custom order a tinted lens (with or without a prescription) to any frame of your choosing! Trust us, the options are endless…☺️

With all of our independent eyewear brands launching their Spring/Summer 2026 collections, we wanted to highlight some of the key eyewear trends to watch for this year.

First up is the aviator (with its distinctive teardrop lens shape) and its close relative, the navigator (similar double bridge but with a more even lens shape). Both are classic profiles that are being reimagined in 2026 with updated slimmer profiles and softer curves. Modern aviators and navigators feel timeless, gender-neutral, and easy to wear - swipe through for some of our favourite aviator styles

A friend recently sent us this still from and we thought it was such a great way to demonstrate that even the most beautiful frame can look like a mess if it isn’t fitted properly. Meet the Mingle by . It’s hard to say what we love the most about this New York brand’s take on the classic aviator sunglass. Maybe it’s the triple gauge striped skiving seen on the front and temples, or possibly the titanium nose pads and signature Moscot engravings on the temples. Or perhaps it’s the custom gradient tint in Chestnut Fade that made us instant fans. Either way, this piece designed by 5th generation of the Moscot family, Zack Moscot, is timeless, versatile, and a total hit in our books. Currently in the shop and seen here on our girl Fallan

Happy Saturday! Some new pieces just arrived in our shop and we thought we’d take a few for a photo shoot. Handcrafted in France, and always with carefully chosen premium acetate (zoom in - the subtleties and uniqueness are 👌), frames are have the perfect balance of timelessness and a touch of whimsy.
