GBV Learning Network & Knowledge Hub presents this free recorded webinar “Responding to Intimate Partner Violence and Substance Use: S*x-, Gender-, and Equity-Based Approaches”. In part the webinar highlights the Strong Women Project, which Aventa Centre of Excellence for Women with Addictions participated in, via the Centre of Excellence for Women's Health.

In this Special Event, Dr. Lorraine Greaves explored the importance of integrated approaches that address IPV and SU together, rooted in trauma- and violence-informed care and informed by s*x-, gender-, and equity-based analyses (SGBA+). She also shared practical tools for gender-based violence and allied service providers to reduce stigma, support safety, and respond with care.
