No matter where I am, issues with tissues, always seem to find me.

My journey continues and here are a few snapshots of me helping out my host on a very makeshift table.
This session brought me back to when I first started my practice in 1995, working on a stationary table with three little stools around me so I could adjust my height and find my leverage. I was never so happy to get a hydraulic table in 2003.

Sometimes life invites you to pause, to listen, and to see where the journey might lead next.  Although my massage practice in Calgary is now closed, my heart remains deeply connected to the work and to all of you who shared it with me. I’ll soon post a few referrals for those looking for a new therapist and occasional updates as this new path unfolds. 🙏🏻🧡

Just me, an exercise ball, and a trip down memory lane. 30 years ago this month, I completed my massage therapy training at Mount Royal College and joined the Association of Massage Therapy and Holistic Practitioners, now known as the Natural Health Practioners Of Canada.
The profession has changed and evolved over the years, but what remains constant is the power of manual therapy and healing touch. To everyone who’s ever been on my table, THANK YOU! You’ve given me the opportunity to learn, to grow, and to keep doing the work I love.🙏🏻🧡

 I always look forward to attending the NHPC events and this year they brought the AGM and Ethics seminar to Calgary! It’s really great to be among so many dedicated practitioners. Today I joined fellow NHPC members to plant 130 trees with the City of Calgary. A huge THANK YOU to the NHPC staff for organizing this volunteer opportunity.🧡🙏🏻🌲
