Last week, we celebrated a huge milestone at the clinic - Audrey's 25 year workiversary at Bonavista Physio!!

We have been so incredibly grateful to have Audrey as part of our physiotherapy team over these years. Not only is she a rockstar clinician, who has referrals come to her from all over the country, she is also an amazing mentor, teacher, and friend!

She has welcomed each and every person into the clinic, and made it such a fun place to work. Audrey is always brainstorming ideas to make our clinic better, challenge us at clinicians, and is never too busy for our many questions!

Audrey - thank you for your ongoing commitment and support of Bonavista Physio! Thanks for being such an amazing person, and for choosing to continue working with all of us at Bonavista Physio!

🌿 New at Bonavista Physical Therapy — Tai Chi Classes! 🌿

We’re excited to introduce Tai Chi at Bonavista Physical Therapy, led by one of our physical therapists, Alina. This is a gentle, guided class designed to improve balance, strength, and confidence in movement.

Tai Chi is especially beneficial for individuals with:
• Arthritis
• Increased fall risk
• Mobility or balance concerns

This slow, controlled form of movement is safe, effective, and backed by research — making it a great option for staying active and moving well at any age.

Alina joined our team back in August, and we could not be happier to have her!

🙌 Specialities/Areas of Interest: advanced dry needling, physio for dancers including ability to assess and train pointe shoe readiness, Pilates, Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, physio for scoliosis, TMJ, Vestibular, Manual Therapy Level 1

❤️ Favorite Part of the Job: helping people experience “ah huh” moments about their body to gain better motor control and function.

🥳 Fun facts: Alina is a certified Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner! She is passionate about health and wellness, and loves helping others in their own journey! She loves mind body activities that create flow and have a daily practice including many dance forms, Pilates and Tai Chi. You can occasionally find her performing Flamenco dance!
