Sarafine's Bodywork and Massage

Sarafine's Bodywork and Massage Massage and somatic modalities, Hermitage retreats, Maker events, Herbalist made skin care

At Sarafine's our philosophy stands firmly in that massage and energy work, beautifying and balancing are all an essential part of self-care. Like balancing our checkbook, or finding time to unwind, exemplary self-care is a requirement for a long happy life.

As each massage should be different from the last, because your body has different needs from day to day, your therapist will work with you

r tissues as deeply and effectively as your tissues will allow, ensuring a safe, highly effective treatment in alignment with your goals.

A good therapist will do what they can with what time and information you give them. A great therapist will inform and educate you, discuss your goals and achievements at every appointment and if you need therapeutic work your therapist will perform required Orthopedic assessments and make a treatment plan with you.

The person behind these philosophies is Kate Jones RMT, and that is me. I identify as woman, mother, guide, wisdom seeker, earth lover and kitchen witch. I value community, curiosity, humility, freedom of choice, and personal integrity. I am passionate about learning and have devoted my life to the study of bodywork, meditation and earth centred medicine. I believe in the power of body and energy work as a means of reclaiming our inherent wisdom and love to support and witness others as they walk their own path. I am trained in multiple modalities from around the world:Swedish massage, European reflexology, traditional Head massage from Kerala India and Thai Yoga massage, Hawaiian hot stone massage , Usui Reiki from Japan and I hope to guide you in the body work that best serves your needs.

As Spring invites us to join her revolutionary dance, here’s how to live an abundant life, as abundance flowers all around us in the new season:

🤫 Begin each day with silence. The benefits of daily meditation include boosting vitality in the body, mind and spirit.

🗣️ Replace yearning with affirming. Studies reveal that simply attuning to the present moment lowers systemic inflammation.

👁️ Visualize where you want to be as if you’ve already arrived. Embodying + visualizing future potentials produces the same brain activation as the actual experience. Embodying your vision + setting daily intentions is a science-backed practice that experts agree is exponentially more powerful than many goal-oriented techniques.

🎊 Make space for play. Children and adults can benefit from the cognitive, social, emotion, and physical well-being derived from free play. From coping to curiosity, play is a powerful tool for exploration and expression.

🙏🏽 End each day by giving thanks. The more you are in a state of gratitude, the more you will attract things for which to be grateful. At the neurochemical level, gratitude acts as a catalyst for neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, which manage our emotions, anxiety, and stress responses.

Don’t take anything for granted, because you truly never know what will happen next. What you have will eventually be what you had. Letting go of control multiplies the potential for gratitude. Sometimes we put too much weight into trying to control every tiny aspect of our lives that we completely miss the forest for the trees.

One of the greatest laws of manifestation can be the simple art of letting go. Clearing yourself of needless expectations lets you truly experience (and receive!) the unexpected.

Working through advanced herbology and workong to further understand the addictive properties of sugar... so glad we can break that addiction.

It just takes a sugar detox program. Like the one I have on the web page.
