Ever have days when your shoulders feel glued to your ears from tension? Or your jaw aches from clenching? That’s not just tension - it’s your body holding onto stress!
If you’re juggling work, family, and managing shoulder pain, your body is probably carrying more stress than you realize. It’s not healthy to carry that baggage, so here’s what you can DO:
✨ Enter: “Somatic Stress Release”
This isn’t “woo-woo,” I promise. It uses gentle movements and breathing to reset your nervous system.
Here are common places women aged 40-60 hold tension:
Neck & shoulders: “I’m carrying the weight of the world.”
Jaw: Clenching without realizing it.
Low back & hips: Feeling unstable or unsupported.
Chest: Shallow breathing and anxiety.
Gut/stomach: Digestive upset or emotions.
Here is a quick somatic release routine:
Body scan – Acknowledge tight areas without judgment.
Neck & jaw – Roll your head and open your mouth.
Shoulder rolls – Up, back, and down while breathing.
Shake it out – Stand and gently shake your body.
Deep breath + sigh – Inhale deeply, let it go with a sigh.
Try it and let me know how it works!
Committed to your success,
Francois
