About Me

Asteraceae is the scientific name for the family from which dandelions and daisies (a fave) come and is the inspiration for my company name. I chose the dandelion because in them I see release and renewal. When dandelion fluff is released it spreads seeds of growth beyond its present moment. Like the seeds of the dandelion, that which is released by us goes forth to promote growth beyond our present circumstance. It is through release that we become.

In 2009 I found myself in a place of bitterness and negativity and it was affecting my life in adverse ways. I began to take steps to make a change by attending personal development workshops, devouring self-help books, surrounding myself with folks who encouraged, motivated and inspired me, and going deep within to determine what responsibility I had in where I found myself. Through the process I was able to release parts of myself that served no purpose to me or my growth, and was able to experience extreme growth spiritually, mentally and emotionally. It was not easy work and there were times I wanted to throw in the towel. I worked hard to change my mindset, quiet my inner critic and become someone I could stand to be around.

In the years since I have become a Reiki Master/Teacher, an Intuitive Hypnotherapist and most recently a Crystal Sonic Rejuvenation practitioner.

It is my calling to help others find their place of healing, relaxation, and release. To help others find their space to just be.
