Between Friends Between Friends facilitates programs with these goals in mind while promoting a focus on shared interests over individual differences.

Many people with disabilities seek social and recreational activities that are fundamental to enriching self-esteem, quality of life, and mental and physical health. Between Friends offers children, youth and adults a variety of programs that remove the barriers of isolation and truly function as the building blocks of friendship. We encourage diversity by connecting our community with their fellow citizens with disabilities, providing ongoing development and benefitting all people through the sharing of unique talents and perspectives

Summer may be winding down, but our Garden volunteers are still going strong!

Thank you to these incredible groups who helped lay mulch, plant trees, and build a brand new shed! The work that these groups have done will help our garden get ready for the winter, and make sure it's as vibrant and lively as possible next year. We're so grateful for all the work that these groups have done at our garden 💚

This summer, we introduced a new age group at our North Calgary Site - the Bats! 🦇

The Bats spent the summer playing on the playgrounds, eating tasty treats, making crafts, catching bugs, and exploring Ghost Lake!

Our Chipmunk Campers got up to so much fun this summer! 🐿️

They spent their days building sand castles, jumping high on the trampoline, chasing counsellors, tackling the playground, and taking the best selfies ever!

The Chipmunks Staff and Volunteers did such an incredible job making this summer such a success! And our Chipmunks Campers were the ultimate superstars, making each day full of fun and laughter! 💚

Our Minnows are our youngest campers, and for many of them, it's their very first summer at Camp! Their summer was spent jumping on the trampoline, making art projects, playing on the playground, swimming in the pool, and going on adventures!
