Recently, I had the opportunity to attend a talk with Gabor MatĂŠ his largest audience yet, with 10,000 people. WOW, Calgary.

I’m so grateful I was able to be there. So much of what he shared resonated with me, both personally and professionally.

One question that really stayed with me:
Where in my life am I not saying no?

That question alone brought up so many thoughts and emotions. Because often, our need for attachment can outweigh our need for authenticity… and for setting boundaries.

It’s a question I know I’ll keep coming back to with curiosity and compassion.

Spring Break isn’t always a break for parents… and that’s okay to admit 🌿

Between the snacks, the noise, the schedules, and trying to “make it special,” it can feel more overwhelming than relaxing.

Here’s your reminder:
You deserve care too.

Self-care for parents this Spring Break doesn’t have to be big or perfect:
• Step outside for 5 minutes of quiet
• Drink your coffee while it’s still hot
• Say no to plans that feel like too much
• Let boredom happen! For your kids and for you
• Ask for help without guilt

You don’t have to be “on” all the time to be a good parent.

Sometimes the best thing you can give your family…
is a version of you that feels just a little more rested, a little more supported, and a little more like yourself 💛
