Isnβt it interesting when a relationship with a an element can shift and evolve; a lovely reminder that our perceptions do not need to remain static.
Growing up in Southern Alberta, I had a love/hate relationship with the wind. As it was a constant within our everyday, it was either something to be welcomed (when the chinook winds would blow in warmer weather in the winter) or tolerated. As a child, I used to get terrible earaches from the wind and my tolerance deteriorated into avoidance and dislike.
However, thanks to some self-healing work that I did several years ago, that has changed! I now have a new appreciation and gratitude for the wind. Sometimes it is a gentle breeze, other times it can almost blow me over. Still, as it blows through me, it helps me release any stuck energy and carries it away. It blows away those cobwebs inside of me that are hanging onto false or outdated beliefs and judgments, hindering me in my growth and evolution. And it blows IN new perspectives, new insights, new possibilities.
This shift in my perception has opened my eyes to new possibilities out there. Much gratitude.
