I am a wellness advocate providing an integrative approach to chronic pain through the power of holistic nutrition and manual therapy. With three certifications under my belt, (manual osteopathic therapy, massage therapy and holistic nutrition) my mission is to help you take control of your chronic pain & find optimal wellness. I graduated from the 1100-hour Massage Therapy Certificate program at
Mount Royal University in 2007, and I have been working as a sole proprietor since 2008. I've worked in spas and clinics, with physiotherapists, aestheticians and chiropractors. I have done the mobile massage thing, ultimately deciding to open my home based clinic in 2013, which is where I have been ever since! I am an MTAA member in good standing, fully registered and covered by all insurance companies. I have achieved 2200-hr equivalency status through my association to satisfy insurance coverage. I am known for deep tissue, therapeutic massage and trigger point therapy, but I also incorporate relaxation techniques as needed. I have additional certifications in TMJ massage, (jaw pain and dysfunction) prenatal/postpartum massage, (including labor and induction techniques) dynamic cupping and infant massage instruction. I also have experience working with motor vehicle accident treatments, sciatica, fibromyalgia, headaches and migraines, post-surgical, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, repetitive strain injuries low back pain and more! I also have a diploma in Natural Nutrition, graduating from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in May of 2015. My passion for nutrition came from a want to heal my own body as well as helping others around me manage their chronic illnesses. Holistic nutrition uses whole foods in combination with vitamin/mineral supplementation to help heal and prevent illness. Proper nutrition can enhance the immune system, prevent chronic disease and improve overall well being. I am an active member in good standing with the CSNN Alumni Association. My main focus is helping others discover & correct underlying imbalances holding them back from achieving optimal wellness in their everyday lives using anti-inflammatory nutrition. My latest endeavour is my journey through the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada’s Manual Osteopathic Therapy diploma program. I graduated in September of 2020, and have since implemented it into my practice. Techniques used in sessions range from myofascial remodelling and osteoarticulation corrections to visceral manipulation and craniosacral osteopathy. I deeply enjoy providing clients with a holistic and thorough assessment of their body to better develop treatment plans that help reverse their pain and dysfunction. I am always looking to meet new clients, or local like-minded small business owners. If you'd like to connect, contact me or you can book an appointment online!
