Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is real, complex, and often misunderstood.

It’s not about effort or intent. It reflects a disruption in how the brain sends and receives signals.

At Synaptic, we see how this can show up in everyday life. Not just in symptoms, but in how it can affect confidence, trust in the body, and day-to-day experiences.

We also see what can begin to shift when people have access to care that is consistent, personalized, and grounded in how the nervous system works.

Thao’s heart and ambition is a true testament of his abilities to become the best human he can be. He always tackles adversity with a smile, his charming personality & his ability to crack jokes with us here is what makes Thao, Thao.

Thao, you’re truly an inspiration to all of us here. We hope to see you progress more in your rehabilitation journey, & we also hope the Maple Leafs can bring home Lord Stanley one day 😉

Brayden! 🤩

Brayden’s mentality of never back down to adversities is a real inspiration to all of us here in clinic, he brings the most positive vibe, attitude & humour towards anything and everything even though we constantly tell him to exhale while exercising 😅

Brayden brings not only his A game into sessions, but he brings his stylish & colourful shirts into clinic which we all adore. He is a real life cowboy but a trooper when it comes to rehab, keep inspiring others to push forward & we can’t wait to see the progression you make here at Synaptic & don’t forget to breathe out 😉
