There's so much more I could share about this journey. From start to finish it was perfection.

My heart had been calling me to be with the 🍄 for months. I trusted that the unfolding would come together naturally.

It did. From finding the perfect space for the journey, having one of my best friends witness me the entire time and then provide THEE most nourishing meal once my journey was complete, to giving myself time to integrate and embody the lessons from my experience.

I don't take these kinds of things lightly. At one point in my life I might of played around with the fun guys for sh*ts and giggles. Which is perfectly fine and was meant to be. But now in this era of being Ashley my intentions are different. And I love that I get to create exactly what it is that I want to with the medicine available to me.

This kind of experience will not be for everyone. I would never run and tell everyone to do what I did. I was ready. Intuition guided me in being able to have a journey best suited for me. Doing this takes a lot of surrender, heart, and intentional planning.

All this to say dear one that I truly wish for everyone to find the healing they need. That is right for them. In spaces that can welcome their full being. To make it wonderous, fun, exciting, and beautiful. And for them to be able to

"Go out into the world and be great."

That in your authenticity, you're an absolute baddie?

That the doors of life swing wide open when you yourself can open up to the wonder, possibility, and magic of it all?

That when you lay your head down on your pillow at night you have Love in your heart?

Orange you glad that this human experience is one of the most wildly intense to be having, yet here you are doing the damn thing?

There's a saying that goes "Everyone wants the village, but no body wants to be the villager."

We have a world booming with opportunity to connect online. And that can be beautiful. But what about in the real, day to day, lived experience?

The truth of it is that if you truly want the village you need to know how to actually show up. I've come to notice the phenomenon that people don't think they can belong because what they're actually showing up to requires masks and facades.

Maybe your heart desires a space where all of you is known. Not just the pretty shiny parts. But the grief and pain too, all the while knowing that no one particular state of being will ever define the fullness of who you are. It's called being multidimentional my love.

So today I wish upon you a prayer for real community. A real, tangible space to land in when the internet blacks out and you'll still be supported, loved, and cared for.

And so it is.

Nothing I ever offer up for reflection isn't something I've sat with for myself.

Giving the space to reflect inwardly has done me a world of justice through all the highs and lows of my life.

If you find yourself having lots of great conversations online, but when you put down the phone no one is there to share face to face and in the flesh with, maybe it's time to start building something more tangible for yourself.

It's actually quite embarrassing for the oppressors when you think about everything that's been intentionally done to keep black people down yet here we are with all our swag, joy, and undeniable influence all around the world. I love being black. This time and every lifetime.

These colonial systems are crumbling. Every last play in the play book is being tested to see if we're still dumb and gullible. This is soooo pathetic and exhausting is all I have to say about it.

No one will ever convince me that more hatred and violence is going on in the world than kindness, respect and compassion. I'm convinced the only way to convince us that the former is true is by having us locked into a reality we aren't directly a part of. Online and away from our own communal experiences.

When I go out into the world with my phone out of sight people are smiling, saying hello, being helpful. And its beautiful. Are SOME people SOMETIMES as****es and gross? Yep, and I stay tf away from them.

If I could go and stop every bad thing happening in the world I would. But it's my responsibility to accept that this is not possible nor my obligation. I show up day in and day out being the highest version of myself where I can and where it matters. And this is the impact of change I have the power to make in the world.

It's not going to be packaged into pretty little reels or waxing poetic posts (ironically here I am I know lol). Its gonna be in the raw, lived expression of my willingness to show up and shine my light regardless of how dark and wacko the world seems.

When they shut down the internet and we don't have these perfectly curated online communities to turn to whose number will you have? Whose house will you be able to show up to unannounced with a gift, act of kindness, or needing help?

I gleefully withdraw my participation in the thinking that our collective human story ends with the Commanders (hello Handmaid's Tale) keeping us from reaching our destiny. Its love. Its peace. Its unity. Its not perfect. Its not pretend. Its not all the time. But its real. Its honest. Its lived.

Now go hug a tree and tell someone you love them.

Happy 61st B-Earth day to my pops.

I root into what is sacred to me. What holds weight. What has value. What I know to be true. When I stay focused, when I trust my path, when I show up face to face and in the flesh, everything feels alive. I know the world without a doubt through my own lived experiences, the rest is speculation. An invitation. To participate or not.

The truth of it all: the bar is so fu***ng high. From all the fires I've walked through. From what was gifted to me by those no longer here in the earth realms. I continue to accept the blessing that it is to hold what it requires to meet me in my depths. No shallow waters or wading pools.

I know exactly what love, compassion, presence, support and conflict resolution soaked in genuine desire for healing is. And so, the only thing left to do is accept whatever holds that frequency into my life. Naturally, anything that is not holding that frequency ultimately falls into the alchemical fires of my rising.

2026? Sexy. Satiated. Simple.
