Introducing Robyn, our guest yoga teacher for this Wednesday’s class at Parkhill Outdoor Yoga! 6-7pm
Robyn Bedford is originally from Calgary and is working in Toronto as an Independent Dance Artist and Movement Professional. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Trauma Informed training and also instructs Barre classes. Along with her instructing, Robyn is a freelance dance performer, collaborator, teacher and choreographer in the community!

Everyone is welcome, all levels, no sign-up needed, just show up.

Join us and bring your friends! No registration or community membership necessary, this is a donation-based class for everyone.

In light of the recent COVID-19 situation, and considering what is best for the health and safety of our yoga community members, we have temporarily canceled all yoga classes until further notice. Please take care of yourself and your family members during this time. We will look forward to resuming regular drop-in classes in the community when it is safe to do so. Until then stay home, stay healthy, and continue practicing yoga with the help of online resources.

Yoga Conditioning special class Tues March 10th 7-8:15pm
In this workshop I will guide you through an alignment and strength based asana practice. We will use various exercises to align the body and mind and to encourage physical strength and mental resilience both on and off of the mat. Breath and music will be used as a tool to overcome self-imposed limitation, and to bring a sense of joy to the class. I encourage those who want to strengthen their personal practice or who want to work up a good laugh and a sweat to attend.

We will discuss these subjects and more! Join us for a restorative (and digestive) yoga practice followed by healthy discussion, food demo and more.
It’s a new year and a new decade, a time to reflect on what is serving our highest purpose and how we can adjust to make the necessary changes. We will discuss these subjects and more at our Healthy Eating Workshop! Join Tara, holistic nutritionist and yoga teacher, from 6:30 - 8pm for a restorative (and digestive) yoga practice followed by discussion, demo and more. Critical Alignment Therapy (CAT) is used to reduce or eliminate pain and discomfort in the body and is an excellent tool for anyone who experiences chronic pain in the hips, shoulders and/or back. It helps to break through movement restrictions and restore mobility by bringing balance back to the skeleton.

By focusing on the skeleton, we develop alignment at the deepest level, breaking down tightness in postural muscles and the myofascial line, allowing for free and easier movement. Through this process we also become better able to support our movements; initially with concentrated effort and focus, and over time habitually. This supports ongoing, pain-free living with the know-how to quickly resolve any pains that may develop or redevelop over time.

Always wanted to try yoga? Looking for an easy class to get started? We are pleased to introduce Beginner Yoga classes, for a limited time. Please register online by May 31, 2019

Learn the basics of yoga in a comfortable, spacious environment. During the 6 week program, we will introduce you to the basic poses, alignment, the use of props, and share why yoga is ideal for people of all ages and abilities. Through gentle movement and easy stretching, you will exercise every part of the body which can help reduce swelling in joints, increase mobility and improve your balance.

Beginner Yoga Classes - 6-week session
