𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲.
Over the past few months, I’ve been reflecting on how we support people through stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm.
There are incredible therapists out there doing deep, meaningful work through talk-based and analytical approaches, helping people understand their thoughts, patterns, and experiences.
And alongside that… there’s a growing awareness of something else.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆.
I work with TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises), a body-based approach that supports the nervous system through a bottom-up process - allowing the body to release stored stress and come back into a state of regulation.
What I’m seeing more and more is this:
✨ It’s not one or the other
✨ It’s not competition
✨ It’s collaboration
When the mind is supported and the body feels safe… the shifts can be profound.
As I open up my business further, I’m really interested in connecting with therapists, counsellors, psychologists, and practitioners who feel aligned with this more integrated approach.
This isn’t about replacing anything, it’s about 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆.
𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗜’𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.
Let’s expand the way we support people, together.
Hugs,
Mainey 💗
