When a stranger shouted at me in the street, I froze.
He didn’t know me. He didn’t know the weight I was carrying. Yet in an instant, I was reduced to an “idiot.”
The truth is, moments like these hurt more deeply than we admit, especially when life already feels heavy. But they also say something bigger about the world we’re in right now: fraying patience, rising anger, and the way grief and stress spill into public spaces.
