Calgary Ear Centre

Calgary Ear Centre Locally owned and operated Calgary hearing clinic providing hearing tests, hearing aids, tinnitus care, ear cleaning, and auditory processing support.

Serving children, adults, seniors, and patients with diverse needs including Down syndrome. Our Story

The Calgary Ear Centre is a multi-disciplinary hearing clinic, offering unique programs and exceptional care. We provide comprehensive evaluations of the auditory system, advanced hearing aid technology and assessment of ear-related disorders. We also provide specialty consultations for tinnitus

and sound sensitivity management. Our clinic opened in September 2013 in the community of Lincoln Park. Since then, we have been providing quality service to both our patrons as well as patients of our co-located Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists. Through our office, we have the ability to refer internally to the specialists to explore further options for ear and hearing disorders. We work with all major hearing aid manufacturers in Canada, giving us a wide variety of options to explore for our clients. In addition to competitive pricing, we also offer a number of funding options. These include low-income support, funding for seniors, and financing programs that allow you to pay over a flexible term that is suitable for your lifestyle. We are a vendor with Alberta Aids to Daily Living, AISH, Veteran’s Affairs Canada, and WCB Alberta.

Hearing aids are not one-size-fits-all.

The right hearing aid depends on your hearing, lifestyle, comfort, and daily needs.

At Calgary Ear Centre, we work with multiple leading hearing aid manufacturers and help patients find options that fit them. Our clinic flyer notes that we partner with 7 leading hearing aid manufacturers and offer a 60-day treatment plan/trial period.

If you are curious about hearing aids, we can help explain the process.

Not sure what happens during a hearing test?

A lot of people feel nervous before their first appointment—but it’s actually simple and comfortable.

Here’s what to expect:
• We ask a few questions about your hearing health
• You wear ear inserts and respond every time you hear a tone
• We’ll perform speech testing by asking you to repeat words
• We go over your results together

That’s it—no pressure, no commitment.

We also offer free hearing tests for seniors (65+), so it’s easy to get started.

If you’ve been thinking about checking your hearing, this is a good first step.

Ringing in your ears? You’re not alone.

About 1 in 5 people experience tinnitus — that ringing, buzzing, or noise only you can hear.

For many, it’s linked to changes in the inner ear (often from aging or noise exposure). This is called primary tinnitus.

But sometimes, tinnitus can have other causes.

• Pulsatile tinnitus – sounds that match your heartbeat (can be linked to blood flow)
• Somatic tinnitus – changes when you move your jaw, neck, or eyes

The important part:
👉 Understanding the cause can help you manage it better.

👂 We’re here to help

If this sounds familiar, book a hearing assessment to better understand your tinnitus and your options.

⚠️ Appointments fill up quickly — we recommend booking early.
