On September 27th, schools across the country will participate in the Terry Fox School Run in honour of Terry’s incredible legacy and to raise proceeds towards cancer research 🦾 Inspiring perseverance and strength, his journey reminds us of the importance of movement and mobility for all. We are ecstatic to share that we will be joining in the celebration of the inaugural “National Orthotics and Prosthetics Day” on September 19th, 2024!
 
Orthotics Prosthetics Canada has established this national day of recognition to:
 
➡ Highlight and promote the professions of Certified Orthotists and Prosthetists and Registered Orthotic and Prosthetic Technicians
 
➡ Educate about the work they do by spotlighting individuals who have gained and regained function and mobility with the help of our practitioners.
 
➡ Build stronger, more collaborative partnerships as a support network for the Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) profession and our patients and clients.
