Who can benefit from Lymphatic Drainage Therapy?
For somebody who has no specific ailments, injuries, surgeries or auto immune issues lymphatic drainage can help with removing toxins from the body. By removing the toxins from the body the immune system is able to work at a much more efficient way. Therefore, you are less likely to succumb to viral or bacterial infections, or even cancer.

For others who have more specific ailments such as auto immune issues, Parkinson’s, up coming or post surgical concerns, swelling in the extremities, lymphoedema and many other ailments this treatment can help lesson symptoms or even eliminate them.

Have you been hearing more and more about lymphatic drainage and wondering if this is a treatment that may be good for you?

Lymphatic drainage therapy is a form of gentle stimulation to the lymph system that encourages the drainage of lymph nodes and the movement of lymph fluids out of the body. It can help relieve symptoms of swelling, headaches, disease, and much more. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the body’s tissues.

In fact, your lymphatic system acts almost like a garbage disposal, helping your body filter out waste including viruses, cell fragments, fat, protein, and bacteria. Lymphatic drainage therapy which is sometimes called manual lymphatic drainage, or MLD, involves gently  stretching, and stimulating areas of the body to help move lymph fluid  through the lymph vessels.
