Exciting Milestones and New Beginnings at HeartNest Care!

What a week it's been for us at HeartNest Care Inc.! We're thrilled to share some big updates as we gear up to provide the best care possible.

We hit some major milestones this week, including receiving the first draft of our website (get ready for an amazing online experience!), and getting our internet installed at the office. We're also absolutely loving our new office view – it's definitely boosting our team's energy!

We're also incredibly excited to welcome Myah to the HeartNest Care family! Myah joined us on Tuesday, and we feel so lucky to have such a talented and passionate young professional on our team. She's already making a wonderful impact!

With the Calgary Stampede just around the corner and summer holidays officially kicking off today, we can feel the excitement building! It's an inspiring time to be getting ready to "rock and roll" here in Calgary.

Your Brain Wants Connection! 🧠

Forget endless crosswords and app games – recent research on dementia and Alzheimer's is showing that they might not be as effective as we once thought for cognitive health. The real powerhouses for slowing deterioration? Genuine human connection and regular exercise!

So, let's swap some of that solo screen time for coffee dates, group activities, and invigorating walks. Your brain will certainly thank you! This idea of connection extends to our seniors, who often need vital support. While the YourAlberta (Government of Alberta) Alberta Continuing Care Act has done fantastic work making services more accessible through Alberta Health Services, there's still a gap for those requiring more extensive care.

Our HeartNest Care Logo: A Story Takes Flight

At HeartNest Care, our journey is all about growth, and that means being open to new ideas and truly listening to each other. A couple of weeks ago, I had a revealing call with CChau Ny She had some big news: our logo needed to evolve!

My first reaction? A deep breath, for sure! But as Chau explained, fueled by valuable discussions with the fantastic team at the CCanadian Franchise Association she realized we needed a logo that was not just unique, but truly authentic to who we are.

And so, we're thrilled to unveil our new logo, packed with elements that beautifully tell our story:

Authentic & Unique: Every part of this logo was hand-drawn by Chau, crafted from the heart to reflect our genuine passion for care.

Birds in Flight: Like a bird taking flight, our Care that lifts the heart uplifts, supports, and frees you, bringing a sense of lightness and joy that resonates with the soaring imagery of our logo. These birds embody hope, resilience, and the aspiration to reach new horizons.

Franklin Gulls: These specific, beautiful birds symbolize our beginnings right here in Calgary, where our journey first took flight.

Heart-Shaped Nest: The logo itself forms a cozy, heart-shaped nest, a powerful symbol of our dedication to providing loving care in the home.

Two Colors: These vibrant hues represent the rich diversity of cultures we're committed to serving and the strong partnership between families and caregivers. The gold at the top signifies the rising sun, offering life and support, while the green below represents growth and sustainability.
