I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Gary Craig, the creator of Emotional Freedom Techniques. Gary was someone I was grateful to have learned from, and also grateful for the time I was lucky enough to have personally worked with him.
After EFT's Tapping changed my life (an amazing change after 19 years of chronic pain) I learned everything I could about EFT.
I travelled from England to the USA, where Gary Craig in 2003-2004, was still not used to being recognized by so many people. He spoke to me about how odd it felt in the beginning, with people approaching him (whose lives he had changed in amazing ways) but whom he did not know.
He was generous in his belief that Tapping could be used with other healing modalities. It was interesting to see some of the formation of structure around Emotional Freedom Techniques in the time before there were EFT Masters, or guidelines for what Gary Craig wanted included in approved EFT Practitioner Trainings, so people knew enough about EFT's gentle Tapping to be able to call themselves his EFT Practitioners. So many developments moved forward after that time!
I feel blessed for all the times I was able to learn from him directly. I know he will be missed - perhaps by millions of people who knew of him personally. And then there are the millions of people who never knew him at all, but have benefited, or will benefit in future, from all that he gave in sharing EFT with all of us.
Warmth, love, and care to his family and every person who also feels his loss.
