Did you know that 80% of learning is visual? Your child may be able to see 20/20, but that is just the beginning. Clear, comfortable vision also requires the eyes to work as a team. If they are not playing well together, it can lead to headaches, eye strain, and difficulty with reading. A complete eye exam includes testing to ensure the eyes are seeing well AND are working together!

It's hard to know when the the eyes are fighting, so make an eye exam part of your back-to-school routine. Let's make sure your child's eyes are on the same team!

Does the sight of these delicious foods make your mouth water? Did you know they can keep your eyes moist too? A diet rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, such as those found in fish and flax seed, can help with symptoms of dry eye disease.

Plus, they are good for your vision! Eating plenty of leafy green and orange vegetables as well as colourful fruits like strawberries and tomatoes can protect against development of age related macular degeneration. A healthy diet means health eyes!
