This lovely patient of Dr. Whidden is a wonderful example of how a breast lift (mastopexy) can be aesthetically impactful.

By removing the heaviness of the lower pole and placing the ni**le higher, her breasts appear more youthful and proportionate to her body. This also exposed more of her upper torso, giving her a longer and leaner appearance.

A breast lift is a great option for a patient such as this, whose concern is droop and not deflation. For women who also have significant deflation, an implant and lift is another surgical option to explore.

A tummy tuck procedure can be so impactful for our patients. It is not just about the removal of excess, stretched out skin; but also repairing the structures that lay beneath.
During pregnancy, a woman’s body stretches the abdominal muscles apart in order to make room for the baby. This can create postpartum diastases and stretched out fascia, which weakens a woman’s core.
By repairing these structures, the integrity of the core is improved, leading to less pain and increased core strength. Removing the excess skin can also help women perform core exercises more effectively.

Based on his patient’s anatomy, Dr. Humphreys was able to strategically place the incision to minimize the look of the scar, so that it would be virtually unnoticeable when healed. Truly amazing!! 👏🏻
