The Samadhi Tree Center for Conscious Living

The Samadhi Tree Center for Conscious Living Dr. Cameron Forster specializing in TCM/Acupuncture

Our Philosophy is simple – by spending quality one-on-one time and truly getting to know one another, The Samadhi Tree wants to enhance traditional healthcare by returning to the basics of treating and individual, not a disease. We understand that within a persons’ inherent constitution there is a great ability to heal from within and by taking into account and recognizing all factors (Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual) in which our bodies’ are trying to get our attention – often in the form of pain or illness – it is indeed possible to uncover the roots to true healing and move beyond such inhibiting conditions. If we have educated an individual to know their greatest strengths and within such knowledge, the ability to identify and prevent future health complications from reoccurring in the future, our mission is then complete.

🌿 Meridian Monday! 🌿

Let’s talk about the Liver Meridian (肝经)—the body’s flow master! 🌊

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Liver Meridian is responsible for keeping Qi (energy) moving smoothly throughout your body. When it’s balanced, you feel calm, energized, and emotionally stable. When it’s stuck, you might experience stress, irritability, headaches, or digestive issues. 😖

This meridian runs from your big toe 🦶 all the way up to your chest and eyes 👀, influencing menstrual health, detoxification, and emotional well-being.

✨ Ways to support your Liver Meridian:
✔️ Move your body—gentle stretching or yoga 🧘‍♀️
✔️ Eat leafy greens 🥬 & sour foods 🍋
✔️ Get acupuncture & try liver-soothing herbs 🌿

Have you noticed signs of Liver Qi stagnation? Let’s get that energy flowing! 💨💚

🌿✨ : The Stomach Meridian (ST) ✨🌿

The Stomach Meridian is a powerhouse in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), responsible for digestion, energy production, and overall vitality. It runs from just below the 👁️, down the torso, and along the front of the leg, ending at the 🦶.

✅ When balanced: Smooth digestion, strong energy 💪, and a grounded mind 🧘‍♀️.
⚠️ When imbalanced: Bloating 🤢, acid reflux 🔥, fatigue 💤, worry 🤯, or even skin issues.

🌟 Self-care tip: Try Stomach 36 (ST36)—a famous acupoint below the knee—to support digestion, boost energy, and strengthen immunity! Massage this point daily for a natural health boost! 💆‍♂️

Drop a 💛 if you’re focusing on gut health this week!

Myth vs. Fact: Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture

❌ Myth: Acupuncture is painful because it uses needles.

✔️ Fact: Acupuncture needles are ultra-thin 🪡—much finer than a typical medical needle. Most people feel little to no pain, just a slight tingling ✨ or warmth 🔥 as the body responds. Many even find it deeply relaxing 😌!

Acupuncture isn’t about pain—it’s about balance ⚖️, healing 💚, and restoring your body’s natural flow of energy 🌿. Ready to give it a try?

🌿 Wellness Tip Wednesday: TCM Self-Care

Give your digestion a break with mindful eating! 🧘‍♀️🍵 In Traditional Chinese Medicine, eating in a relaxed state helps your Spleen and Stomach transform food into energy more efficiently. Avoid distractions like screens 📱🚫, chew your food thoroughly, and eat warm, cooked meals 🍲 to support digestion.

✨ Slow down, savor your meals, and nourish your body with intention! ✨

🌿 Seasonal Health Tips Tuesday:
Winter & Traditional Chinese Medicine ❄️

Winter is the season of the Kidneys in TCM, associated with water, rest, and deep nourishment. To stay balanced and healthy during the colder months:

🔹 Eat warming foods – Incorporate black beans, walnuts, bone broth, and ginger to support kidney energy.
🔹 Keep your body warm – Protect your lower back and feet from cold exposure.
🔹 Rest & recharge – Winter is a time to slow down; prioritize sleep and relaxation.
🔹 Stay hydrated – Warm teas like ginger or goji berry help nourish fluids without cooling the body.

✨ Acupuncture can also boost your Kidney Qi, helping with winter fatigue, joint pain, and immunity. Book a session to stay balanced this season!
