We are thrilled to introduce Haewon Min, our newest massage therapist at our south office!
Haewon has always had a passion for helping those in need. This drive has led him to work in diverse roles and settings, including senior homes, hospitals, and homeless shelters. His love for volunteer work and adventure has taken him to China, Mexico, and India, enriching his perspective and deepening his empathy.
Combining his passion for helping others, his longstanding interest in biology, and his appreciation for an active lifestyle, Haewon chose to pursue a career in massage therapy. During his studies at MacEwan University in Edmonton, he gained extensive experience working with the public at the MacEwan Clinic, a senior home, daycare, and the Roger’s Centre with school athlete teams. He has treated clients with a wide range of conditions, from acute and chronic issues to post-surgical recovery and special needs.
Haewon also had the unique opportunity to work at the Lois Hole Women’s Hospital in Edmonton, which enhanced his understanding of the needs of female clients, particularly those who are pre- and post-natal. This experience, along with his work with the pregnant population during a special population course, has deepened his appreciation and knowledge in this area.
Utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point release, manual lymphatic drainage, and joint mobilization, Haewon tailors each treatment to meet the unique needs and goals of his clients. He ensures that each client receives an individualized treatment plan and home aftercare guidance from the very first session.
In his spare time, Haewon enjoys cooking, camping, swimming, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Haewon is available on Friday evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday. Look for his friendly face on our online booking site or give us a call at 403-454-1445 to book now.
