Proud mama moment here (and major birth nerd moment 😁)… my 15 year old son, with the help of his dad, have created articulated 3D printed pelvises!

As a doula and childbirth educator, I find it so helpful to be able to show expectant parents how the pelvis opens in different directions with different movements we make. I was frustrated with what I found online because they were so expensive and didn’t demonstrate the full range of motion. So these boys figured out how to 3D print stretchy “ligaments” to hold the bones together and build a flexible coccyx!

I LOVE this article!! The neurology of babies is so well explained.

My takeaways… it’s about relationship. Babies are exogestates for the first 3 months. Find a community as a new parent. Ask for help (it’s easier for 4 adults to meet the needs of one baby!).
