My name is Amrita and I am the founder of Humble Care. I am looking to expand my small business to serve more seniors in my community. I am a young professional with great experience and I strongly care about our growing senior population.
I have worked in retirement homes and volunteered in long-term care for three years now and I’ve grown to truly care for All aspects that our seniors deserve!
I would love to have the opportunity to be able to provide an experience with seniors within my community, I offer exceptional care and companionship plus so much more keeping your loved one engaged and stimulated throughout daily activities.
Experiences I provide a senior with:
•Shopping in the community with/for them (I am a Class G driver with 6 years of driving experience; I do not provide transportation in my personal vehicle)
•exercise programs i.e. stretching; range of motion; walks in the community
•painting and filing of fingernails
•assist with the application of makeup
•theme days (spa day)
•Artistic Activities such as Music Therapy & Chat
•Trivia Games and Puzzles/ Cards
•Cooking meals together(meal prep)
•Basic hygiene (Supervision/ assistance in and out of shower/ full shower)
* Spa experience while showering followed by lotion
I love not only getting to meet new people but getting to know and care for a senior to assist them in having a good quality of life.
I can provide vulnerable sector police checks and references that demonstrate that I’m passionate about providing dignity to seniors.
