This traditional Portuguese steak dishes is known world wide for being topped with a fried egg and rounds chip like fries. What a party, it was amazing vibes all night long. Nothing like reliving the 90s especially with DJ Danny D

This Sunday I’m offering a Francesinha Sandwich
This sandwich is well known all over Portugal, but is originally from the city of Porto. The Francesinha is made with two slices of toasted bread, cured ham, fresh sausage and pork cutlet. It’s covered with melted cheese, hot and thick spiced tomato and beer sauce and topped with a fried egg. Served with fresh cut round fries on the side .

I’m teaming up with Rav Badial, Irindeep Ruby Badial and our local food bank of Cambridge to help raise money for families in need…
It’s Friday, A perfect time to talk about food!

We were recently made aware that the Cambridge Food Bank is in need of a little extra support again this year.

The CFB is estimating they’ll need help with meals for 1,500 families for the Holidays. Similar to last year, the team at the Food bank is looking for $25 Grocery Gift Cards so that they can be easily distributed as needed throughout Cambridge. These funds will be used to help our fellow neighbours, family and friends select the specific grocery items they need.

It’s been fun connecting with Irindeep Ruby Badial and myself to come up with ideas on how we could help, and also spread some Holiday cheer. And we’ve got something great lined up!

Starting TODAY and going until Dec 15th we’ll be running a raffle to win an in home fine dining experience with one of the premiere Chef’s in the region - Clifton DaSilva.

I have 12+ years of experience as a Chef at some of the best restaurants in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

-Entering the draw is easy - 1 entry will be given for every $25 donated. 4 entries for $75

-Donations can be made to Irindeep, myself or directly to the FB - as cash (etransfers) or gift cards
