It doesn’t need to feel overwhelming.

Literally posted about eggs earlier today only to see this memory pop up that on the same day one year ago, I was also posting about eggs 😂

Still one of my favourite (simple) foods to add to your diet whether you’re trying to conceive or replenishing your body postpartum

If one of your New Year resolutions was to eat healthier but you’re TTC, pregnant or postpartum, do yourself a favour and ditch the egg white only omelettes - hear me out —

🍳 The fitness accounts would have you believe this is the best option for you but here’s the thing with eggs and pregnancy

They literally contain all the nutrition need for life to form đŸ€Ż

The egg yolk is filled with essential nutrients like choline (essential for baby’s brain), vitamin D and B vitamins including B12

Not to mention the yolk is where all the good-for-you fat lives! And fat is a macronutrient that is a must if you’re TTC or pregnant

So if 2025 is the year you want to nourish yourself more, don’t skip the yolks

Tell me in the comments if you prefer a savoury breakfast or a sweet one

Pregnancy announcements are often part of the holidays but what happens when you’re the one anxiously waiting for those two pink lines?

You have a look at the test and feel heartache, again 💔

You’re so grateful for the kids you already have and feel guilty for being upset but you know your family isn’t complete

Why isn’t it as easy as the first time?

You’re actively trying so why isn’t it happening as you expected it to?

Trying to conceive shouldn’t take over your whole life

But when you’re trying and it’s not happening, it goes deeper than just tracking and timing

And in 2026 I have something brand new coming to support you on your journey to conceive again

We’re not going into 2026 restricting anything 🚹👎

The start of 2026 will be about ADDING nutritious meals and foods (not restriction) and helping you build a solid foundation of healthy habits even as a busy mom

I’ll be sharing comforting and nutritious recipes to support your body as you heal, recover and nourish your baby over the course of about 6 weeks, beginning January 6th on my email list!

All of which are super simple to make and delicious!

🍳 Small, doable steps is the goal

We're not setting resolutions to cut out foods or restrict our calories but rather diving into a season of mothering ourselves just as we mother our babies

Your first recipe drops Tuesday January 6th and it's a delicious smoothie recipe that’s filled with minerals, protein, healthy fats and fibre to support your blood sugar and energy without any caffeine!

If you’re excited for what's to come and want to get access to the emails, just drop an emoji in the comments and I’ll message you for your details to add you to the list!

Postpartum hair loss can be improved!

You don’t have to suffer “just because you’re a mom now”. If you’re still seeing lots of hair loss or your regrowth is taking a very long time, it could be that you’re not eating enough protein

🍗 Protien is an essential building block for hair growth.

It could also mean your minerals (like iron or zinc for example) are depleted which is very common postpartum.

Pregnancy is a huge nutritional demand on the body and on average it takes several years after one pregnancy to replenish your lost minerals

If you’re not adding enough collagen rich foods or collagen supporting foods to your diet you may struggle with your hair loss

🍓 Vitamin C helps your body build collagen and animal foods like slow cooked meats and bone broths are a rich source of collagen which helps strengthen your hair

đŸ˜”â€đŸ’« Your stress levels could also be playing a role in your postpartum hair loss

What you put on your plate is powerful!

✅ There’s a lot we can learn from bloodwork and functional testing too but starting with a food-first approach can make a massive difference!

Tell me in the comments if you’re struggling with your postpartum hair loss

And if you want to go deeper into this and get support for your postpartum hair loss comment “motherhood” and we can talk about how I can help you
