A few weeks ago, I was sitting outside on the back patio with two dear friends: one who has been by my side for over 42 years—since high school—and her daughter, whose birth I was honored to witness.

Tuesday Wellness: Start your day with a 5-minute Sun Salutation flow, then sip on a hydrating cucumber-mint water.

Cucumber-Mint Water RecipeIngredients:1 medium cucumber (sliced thinly)
10-12 fresh mint leaves
1 liter (4 cups) cold water
Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:
Wash the cucumber and mint leaves thoroughly.
Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
Add the cucumber slices and mint leaves to a pitcher.
Pour cold water over the ingredients and stir gently.
Let it infuse in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours (or overnight for stronger flavor).
Serve over ice if desired, and enjoy!

The funniest part? Watching my husband and my dad try to do the same. Picture two grown men tiptoeing and wincing across the road, letting out a chorus of "Ooh!" and "Ow!" with every step. I couldn’t stop laughing (lovingly, of course).

I was driving home from work, top down, windows open, enjoying the evening air, when I passed three kids on their bikes. One of them shouted, “I love your car!” I smiled and waved. Then the second chimed in, “Yeah, I love your car too!” And then the third yelled: “And I love YOU!”
