❄️ It only takes one patch of ice.

During the winter months, we see an increase in slip and fall injuries from icy sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots. While some falls result in minor soreness, others can lead to sprains, fractures, or injuries that require medical attention.

If a fracture is diagnosed, rehabilitation typically begins once you’ve been cleared for physiotherapy by your physician. A structured rehab plan can help restore mobility, strength, and confidence as healing progresses.

If you’ve taken a fall and something doesn’t feel right, an assessment can help determine your next steps and support a safe return to your daily activities.

“You are only limited to what you push yourself to. You can always get better.”

These words from Lindsey Vonn reflect the perseverance it takes to come back from injury.

High-level athletes often face long and challenging recoveries. Returning to sport after a significant injury, like a fractured tibia, requires patience, structured rehabilitation, and a strong support team. Progress is built step by step.

At GRSM, we believe in evidence-based care and thoughtful return-to-sport planning. Every recovery timeline is different, and the goal is always long-term health and performance.

Whether you’re an elite athlete or simply working your way back to activities you love, improvement comes from consistency, guidance, and trusting the process.
