Big thanks to Maya, Helen and Incline Events for bringing the elegant tradition of High Tea to Cambridge, all in support of Cambridge Memorial Hospital. This event brought together supporters for a beautiful Sunday afternoon with dainty teas, pastries and savoury bites as they helped raise over $23,000 to bring essential equipment to CMH.

We are grateful to the hosts for their time and effort in making this a successful event. Thanks to all guests for joining this fun event in support of local healthcare.

Yesterday, we were proud to host a special reception in honour of Gore Mutual Insurance and their longstanding generosity . During the celebration, we unveiled the Gore Mutual Insurance Foundation plaque in CMH's Fracture Clinic - a lasting tribute to a rich history of partnership and more than $1.3 million in philanthropic investment by the company. We have been sharing how Dr. Sheikh performed a rare surgery to treat Zephaniah's rare jaw tumour as part of our latest appeal. We're ending Volunteer Appreciation Week by celebrating Yvonne Kaine and her journey from being a patient and caregiver to now a volunteer and Board member. "It’s the people that make volunteering special. Interacting with them, supporting them, helping uplift their mood, it really adds fun to my shifts," she shares. If you’ve visited CMH, chances are you’ve been greeted by one of our ambassador volunteers like Drew Black - always ready to help with a big smile. "People don’t come to the hospital because they want to be there. So I try to help them feel relaxed and supported, even if just during our walk to their destination," shares Drew.
