This year’s Trees of Caring was one for the books! We are so proud to share that the 37-year-old cherished community tradition was a massive success, with donations growing by 23%.

Hundreds of lights decked the CMH cafeteria during the holidays and the generosity of more than 1700 donors helped raise over $470,000 to bring new and modern equipment to the hospital. A big thanks to our community for uniting in support of local healthcare. On Wednesday, January 28, the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Salute to Women Luncheon. Once again, the luncheon raised funds for CMH’s Breast Reconstruction Program. A big thanks to all the guests, keynote speakers and silent auction donors and participants for supporting this event and helping raise $13,800. The success of the event and silent auction, supported by local businesses and women leaders, was truly inspiring.

Since 2008, the silent auction held at the event has raised over $163,000, helping CMH bring essential equipment and innovation to the Breast Reconstruction program.

Finding out you or your child have diabetes can be overwhelming – filled with questions, fear, and confusion.

Jennifer B., Clinical Educator for Diabetes, uses Barbie with Diabetes—donated through our wish list campaign—to help families navigate diagnosis and promote healthy conversations.

One parent shared that an essential part of coping with a diabetes diagnosis is reminding their son that “diabetes is something he has, not who he is.”

Our Story

Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation’s $50 million capital campaign has successfully raised over $46 million to date. Our campaign team of volunteers and staff work tirelessly to raise funds and spread the message that 100% of hospital equipment is funded by community donations.

As we anticipate opening our new hospital to patients, we turn to the community to take us over the top, and help raise $3.9 million. WeCareCMH donors are making this state-of-the-art hospital possible. This is for all of us.
