Hi ProActive Community 💚

We see you, we hear you, and we’re right there with you! Parking has been a little bananas lately 🚗 🍌. Thanks to the growing buzz in downtown Galt (so exciting! 🎉), City of Cambridge staff returning to in-office work, and of course the snow ❄️.

We know it’s been more challenging to snag a spot before your workouts, so we’ve put together a helpful graphic showing nearby FREE parking options within walking distance of the studio.

As always, please be sure to follow City of Cambridge traffic bylaws 🚗✅. And if you do end up parking a bit farther away, think of it as a bonus warm-up, get those steps in! 💪✨

Calling All ProActive Parents!

Our pop-up ProActive Kids Club is back this month!

We’re beyond excited for our ProActive Kids Club - a new training experience designed to help kids aged 6-10 years old develop strength, agility and confidence while having a ton of fun in a positive and supportive environment!

🗓️ Date: Sunday, July 27th
⏰ Time: 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM
📍 Location: ProActive Training Inc.
💚 $20 per class + HST
Ages: 6 -10

Sign up your kiddos for the session on pike13, link in our bio.

Create a profile specifically for your child, manage their account and book them in under their name so we can get to know them!

What is ProActive Kids Club?
This program is built to help kids develop their physical literacy ,which is the foundation of an active, healthy lifestyle. Coach Angelo and Coach Dan will be hosting these sessions - they are both dedication trainers with a background in sports and athletics, and are both fathers themselves so know how important it is to unleash kids’ energy in a fun and positive way! They have collaborated to curate this sessions tailored specifically for children using Sport for Life’s PLAY (physical Literacy Assessment for Youth) tools.

Why does this matter?
Better movement skills = more confidence in sports, play, and everyday activities
A gateway to an active lifestyle that sticks with them for life
Helps kids stay engaged and motivated through fun, interactive workouts

In Personal Training, Jer brings his signature energy and expertise to FUNctional strength training, all aimed at improving your overall quality of life.

After a brief hiatus living and working in Montreal, Jer has made the exciting decision to return to Ontario, to Cambridge, and most importantly—back to ProActive!

We invite you to join us for a special Candlelit Community Unwind Practice at Wild Heart Yoga Sunday, September 14th @ 6:30 pm.

This space is lovingly held for all who knew, loved and were moved by Emerson Petri! We invite you to land on your mat, breathe deeply and find solace in the strength of our community!

Marsha Jaworski and the Wild Heart Yoga team will lead us through a grounding and healing practice, focused on nervous system regulation, breath work and mindful movement.

This practice is offered free to the community, and pre-registration is recommended. If you wish to move and breathe with us, reserve your spot via Wild Heart’s mindbody app (linked below), and please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before class begins. Both the East and West studios will be open to accommodate as many as can join us.

All are welcome, this practice is suitable for all levels - come as you are, and take what you need.

💚 The ProActive coaches are holding an “Organic ProActive Park Gathering” tonight from 6:30 to 8pm!

💚 You will find us in Emerson’s usual spot in Dickson Park

💚Past and present members are welcome. Anybody touched by the breadth of ProActive is welcome. Nobody will be turned away

💚Please bring water and a chair if you wish to sit. This is a “come-and-go” event with no formal remarks or happenings. It’s an organic coming together of people.

💚 ProActive is forever! We are all 100% committed to continuing Emerson’s legacy of ProActive Training - we aren’t going anywhere.

💚 The studio will be open as of Wednesday, August 13th for personal training sessions only. If you are a PT client connect with your coach.

💚 The studio will be open for group training as of Monday, August 14th. You can expect all regular class time slots to be running, book in on pike13 as the time is right for you.

💚 The ProActive coaches are holding an “Organic ProActive Park Gathering” on Thursday, August 14th from 6:30-8pm at Dickson Park. This is to bring ProActive members together. More info on pike13 and in the above post. This is not Emerson’s celebration of life that will be held in September, more information to come as arrangements are made.
