🐣🐾 Easter is Fun, But Make It Safe! 🐾🐣
As you’re hiding those eggs and indulging in chocolate this weekend, don’t forget: what’s sweet for us can be dangerous—even deadly—for our furry friends.
🚫 Chocolate Toxicity: Even small amounts of chocolate can lead to vomiting, tremors, and heart issues in dogs and cats. The darker the chocolate, the more dangerous!
⚠️ Xylitol Toxicity: Found in sugar-free candy, gum, and baked goods—xylitol can cause a dangerous drop in blood sugar and liver failure in pets. Just one piece can be life-threatening!
👉 Keep Easter treats out of paw’s reach
👉 Supervise egg hunts (plastic eggs can be a hazard too!)
👉 Call us right away if your pet gets into something they shouldn't!
📞 Fishermills Animal Hospital is here for you this Easter—just a hop, skip, and a bark away. 💛
