Please join us in welcoming Kamara Ukachukwu, RM to Cambridge Midwives!!
Kamara was raised in Kitchener by second-generation Dutch immigrants and has spent the past 15 years in Toronto working, studying, and raising three children.
Before becoming a midwife, she worked in social services as a counsellor supporting women, children, and youth facing adversity. Her interest in pregnancy and childbirth began in childhood and deepened during her first pregnancy, inspiring her to pursue midwifery. Kamara is passionate about equitable healthcare and perinatal mental health.
In her free time, she enjoys being with her children, spending time in nature, reading, and expressing her creativity through baking, cooking, sewing, writing, photography, and art.
She is honoured to support you and your family through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
