Fran has built an inspiring career as a physiotherapist, educator, mentor and leader — from clinic manager to Clinical Talent Ambassador and Acute PT Lead for Training and Development in Québec. Alongside teaching at McGill since 2009, Fran’s passion for mentoring, lifelong learning and collaboration continues to shape the next generation of physiotherapists.

It was a perfect sunny day yesterday as our team from Barrie Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation came out to cheer on the Simcoe County Rovers FC! ⚽️ We were excited to support both the Women’s game and the Men’s kickoff, and connect with fans at our booth to share why rehab and injury prevention matter - especially for athletes at every level.

We’re proud to celebrate one of our own — CBI Health physiotherapist Paige Hinson — who volunteered as a team physiotherapist at the World Softball Championship held earlier this month in Prince Albert. 👏

Paige, a dedicated physiotherapist at CBI Health, generously donated her expertise to help keep athletes performing at their best throughout this prestigious international tournament, which brought together teams and fans from around the world.

Thanks to Paige’s involvement, CBI Health was also recognized as a Single Sponsor of the Championship. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the local sports community and showcase the power of care behind the game.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Stu Gershman on an incredible 30-year milestone with CBI Health!

Stu is known for his warm and welcoming nature, his practical leadership, and his dedication to supporting both colleagues and clients. Beyond his clinical excellence, Stu founded the Buddy Check for Jesse program – an initiative that raises awareness about mental health in sports communities, encouraging teammates to check in and support one another.

Lunenburg was full of colour, joy, and community spirit this past Sunday at the Lunenburg Pride Parade in Nova Scotia! 🌈✨

CBI Health team members were proud to walk alongside others in celebration of love, identity, and inclusion. From High St to Dufferin St, the energy was incredible. It was truly a powerful reminder of what it means to be seen, supported, and accepted for who you are.

A big thank you to the Lunenburg Pride Society for organizing such a beautiful event. We’re honoured to be part of a community that continues to build a more inclusive South Shore, together. 💛
