Deciduous ferns turn white as their nutrients are absorbed underground through the stems. Soon the leaves will shed. It’s a transient and beautiful sight and I’m lucky to have stumbled across the process. A gentle reminder that anything permanent is lifeless and to embrace change.

Do the things that make you happy.

I LOVE dressing up in vintage. It brings me so much joy. And sometimes I go solo to events. At times, feel self conscious and think people might judge, but I always challenge these thoughts by reminding myself that it really doesn’t matter. I’m not hurting anyone and even if people think I’m silly, I’ll live.

Don’t dim your glow for fear of what others might think. You’ll never be a mindreader and it really wouldn’t matter if people were thinking negatively of you anyway. Shine away and be content.
