NOT INTERESTED!
At first the gentleman was very polite. Told me that I had spoken with him and showed an interest back in July and asked him to call me back in September. I proceeded to tell him that I had not expressed an interest, that I am very happy with using my Square for processing payments! Unfortunately, he spoke over me and did not allow me to fully express my views. I asked if there was a monthly rate. He heard that and answered, Yes, $35 a month plus a lower percentage per transaction. I said with Square, I pay for the initial unit and yes, a little bit higher transaction fee for each purchase. But, I am not at any point interested in spending a monthly fee.
He proceeded to tell me that I was getting irate and angry with him, and he did not have to listen to me. Again, I tried to express that I was not irate or angry just not interested in changing companies. He kept speaking over me, and I did then once raise my voice and say ‘excuse me’ quite loud. At which point he again continued to speak over me and said he did not have to listen to me yelling at him. Then he continued to talk about the interest rate the benefits of using his company. I mentioned I was not interested. Which he may not have heard since he didn’t stop speaking. He said he was just answering my question! I told him I didn’t have a question. He then turned around and said well why are you continuing to talk to me then?
What a totally crazy conversation.
At which point I said I don’t like being lied to. He then became upset and said he was again just answering my questions! Questions I never had asked!
At the beginning, he said I had expressed an interest back in July and I know I never did. Then he tells me I’m yelling at him before I even said ‘excuse me’ once and quite loudly. Then he says I’m asking him questions that he’s answering when I never asked a question.
If this is how this company has their representatives deal with potential clients - I want nothing to do with them!
