Alright Pet Parents! We are nearing the season of giving, which means we are looking for donations for the Campbell River Food Bank! Please bring in your NON EXPIRED items to us from December 2-23. Each day you bring in a donation, you get to enter our giveaway for a gift basket which includes a bunch of goodies for your furry companions, and it includes a gift certificate to use at our clinic (one entry per person per day).

We are looking for the following items to donate: 500ml peanut butter, oatmeal, unopened hygiene products, taco kits, boxed items like cereal, granola bars etc, canned meats, pasta sauces, canned food items, baby formula/supplies. Please ensure the items you are bringing in are NOT EXPIRED - we will be checking!
Our goal is to donate at least 250lbs of food/items to the food bank, let’s all come together this holiday season and help out those in need! 🎅🏻 🎄 ❄️

✨ 🦷 Before and After 🦷 ✨ Today we had coonhound Sako in for a dental cleaning. Sako builds up tartar and calculus very quickly but her owner keeps on top of it and brings her in every 6 months to a year for cleanings and uses VOHC approved dental chews at home for prevention. This week we celebrate and thank our RVT’s for all their hard work and dedication. Join us in thanking our RVT’s Tamara (our Lead RVT), Lucas, Bella, and Megan.

Veterinary technicians are the heart of every veterinary team. They combine medical skill, compassion, and dedication to provide the best care for animals who can’t speak for themselves. From assisting in surgeries, running lab tests, performing X-rays, doing paperwork, checking in and discharging patients, filling prescriptions, to comforting anxious pets and worried owners, vet techs do it all with patience and love. They have an incredible ability to balance science and empathy — offering expert care while forming deep connections with their patients. Their hard work often goes unseen, but without them, veterinary clinics couldn’t function. Vet techs are heroes in scrubs, making a difference every single day for animals and the people who love them.
