Today's Full Moon is in Scorpio. While Full Moons are often on the intense and chaotic side, this one could top the norm being in the intense sign of Scorpio, and adding to this energy is a challenging square with Scorpio's ruling planet Pluto in Aquarius. Despite the friction that Full Moons can bring, they are also a great time to release what is not serving you in order to make room for what you are working to bring into fruition. Stepping into Power
For far too long, we've believed ourselves as powerless, with limited control in how we live our lives. This belief system has been generations in the making, but it's one that is crumbling. We've never been here before. Times are changing, and it’s not only challenging but scary, too. We're being called to take back our power, and really step into it in order to take control of our lives and the direction it's taking; on an individual level, within our families, our communities, and on a collective level.

Vast Vistas
With changing times comes changing minds. We need to look outside the box of what we have known in order to bring change and create something that has never been. We need to broaden our perspectives and expand our horizons because true change comes at a collective level. In a world where we are all connected, how do we move forward for the greater good?

I heard from very early on in life that I was too sensitive, too emotional, and just too much period, and as a result, I learned to keep it all inside. A people pleaser through and through, my own feelings, needs, and values were never a consideration for me. Changing that mindset has been challenging … not because I don't recognize it or don’t know what I need to do… but because of fear. Fear of making others angry or upset. Fear of getting in trouble. Fear of getting hurt. Fear of making a mistake. Fear of abandonment. Fear of looking foolish.

Like all things in life, mastery takes time and practice, as well patience and self compassion. It's bound to get messy, but that's where wisdom and knowledge are gained, and even where truth can be discovered. I remind myself of this as often as I need to. I'm a work in progress and don't always get it right, but unlike the old me, this me keeps trying. I'll get there. While sometimes a hurdle, fear is no longer that brick wall stopping me from being my authentic self. The other side of pushing through fear is the courage to keep pushing.
